2 Years

I can't believe 2 years have gone by so fast!  It seems like just yesterday we were bringing this little 7 lb 1 oz baby home for the first time!  It's so bittersweet watching you grow up.  You are so smart, you constantly amaze us with what you know and can figure out!  You have the sweetest heart but can be the most stubborn little thing ever!  I wish I could freeze time and keep you this small forever!  We love you so much! Happy 2nd Birthday baby boy

3 Months?!

It's been a while since I have had the time to blog! Life has been pretty busy. The break has been nice, but I'm ready to get back on track! The holidays and Reeden's birthday are right around the corner so I should have plenty of ideas and material to post! Since my last post,(in July) we have celebrated several birthdays, Labor Day, been to the aquarium twice, had family pictures,went on a road trip, had a root canal, and lots and lots of rain!  Warning lots of pictures coming up :)

Big Boy Hair Cut

Since it's been so hot here lately, and we are outside every day,  I decided that it was time for Reeden to get an official big boy haircut!  I wasn't brave enough to do it myself, I figured since he had never had a clipper cut, I would have to hold him and keep his hands away.  Boy, did he prove me wrong!  He was such a trooper!  Sat in the chair, didn't cry or fuss, total proud mommy moment ;)  Of course I had to snap a couple of pictures, and even though in one of them he looks scared to death, he did GREAT!!

Stars & Stripes

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!  We had perfect weather here in TN!  Not too hot, clear blue sky, and a nice breeze, what more can you ask for!  We spent most of the day around the house, playing, making festive treats, just hanging out.  That night was dinner with some family and watching for fireworks.  We didn't personally buy any since Reeden is still small and we weren't quite sure how he would react if they were so close!  All in all, we had a wonderful holiday :)

Life on the river

I am loving this summer weather!  We have been outside everyday and enjoying every minute of it! On Memorial Day we took Reeden to the river behind our house, which is a typical routine for him, but this time he got to get in the water!  He LOVED it!  I'm not a big fan myself, it's cold, dirty, I can't see the bottom, I mean I could go on and on, haha but Daylin was raised on it, so he wants Reeden to experience the same things he did growing up!  We didn't stay too long since the water was so cold but I have a feeling we will be down there all summer! I didn't get too many pictures since he didn't stay still long enough, but I managed to get a short video...Enjoy:)

18th Month Summer Pictures

A few weeks ago we did a few last minute pictures for Reeden's 18 month. It was so hot that morning, that we only stayed out for 30 minutes before he was soaked with sweat!  I plan on getting some done with him on a tractor, since he is currently obsessed with them. These turned out pretty good, considering the temperature and the limited time we had! Such a big boy now! Four more days and he'll be 19 months!
