7 Month Update

7 months already?!  My baby boy is growing too fast!  I can't believe how time is flying!

Height/Weight: He didn't have a doctors visit this month so I don't have the measurements.  I'll try to update this in a few days after I weigh him.  I always get asked if he is 1 year old though, so I guess he is a big boy ;)

Daily: Time to baby proof the house! My baby is mobile! Not crawling yet, but can scoot and roll to where he wants to go.  He has mastered the walker! My house is bare, all the tables are cleared, trash cans hidden, basically anything that isn't heavier than him is put away :)  Now that he is on the move he doesn't want to sit and play with his toys for very long. Keeps me on my toes but I love every minute of it!

Bedtime: He is sleeping like a champ. He has slept in his crib every night for almost 2 months now!  He goes down around 9:00-10:00 depending on our schedule and sleeps till 5:00-6:00, feeds then goes back down until 8:00.

Eating: He is still having 3 baby food meals a day and 3 6 oz bottles. I recently started giving him 8 oz. plus his cereal before bed and that has kept him satisfied for the night. He started eating puffs and mum-mums last month and is eating the meat baby foods now. He loves to drink water from our glasses or bottles :)

Sizes: He is in an awkward stage with clothes. Most 6-9 mo he has outgrown, and in some brands even the 9 mo! I put a 12 mo outfit on him the other day and it fit him perfectly!  He is in size 3 diapers, and size 3 shoes.  Some size 3 shoes are just a little bit too big just depends on the brand.

Milestones: He said papaw 2 times this week!! Of course it was when neither papaw was around!

Happy Father's Day!

To the Fathers in my Life
To my husband Daylin, who will teach our son how to be a strong and confident person and all sorts of amazing things. Who works hard so that we have a wonderfully happy life now and in the future. Who never ceases to amaze me.  Reeden and I are so fortunate to have such a wonderful man in our lives.  I didn't think my love for him could be any deeper, but from the moment I saw him look at our baby boy for the first time, I discovered a new kind of love, a magical love that was even deeper than I could ever imagine. Love that tells me each day that his heart is with me and Reeden for the long haul. Love that I know will only continue to grow stronger and stronger.  Happy 1st Father's Day Daylin!

To my Dad, I am so thankful for a father that loves me and never fails to tell me.  I'm thankful for a dad that would do anything for his family. Who treasures quality time with his us, and can't go but just a few days without seeing his grandson and granddaughter!  He taught and instilled in me the importance of working hard, respecting others, and making wise and responsible decisions. You were the first to have my heart, and no matter how old I get, I will always be a daddy's girl! I love you so much. Happy Father's Day!
