4 month update

Reeden was 4 months old on the 14th of this month!! I feel like time is passing by right before my eyes!

Height/Weight: Reeden weighed over 15 pounds and was 25 1/2 in long at his 4 month well check! He also received his second round of vaccinations.  Unfortunately his rotavirus vaccination pretty much was a waste because he ended up with it 3 days later, and it landed him in the ER due to dehydration:( He is much better now and we hope the mean virus never comes back!!

Daily: We have our routine down! He's up for an hour/hour and a half and then it's nap time. Up for a good 3 hours then naps again. He usually takes 3-4 naps a day. Loves to play on his play mat(sitting up of course, since he is a big boy and refuses to lay down), the exersaucer is his favorite new toy and he still enjoys his swing.
Bedtime: I have to say I'm pretty lucky to have a child who loves sleep as much as me! He goes to bed at or around 9:30-10:00 and sleeps till 6:00, feeds, then goes back to sleep until 8:00 or 8:30:) He is still not in his crib, he sleeps in the rock and play.

Eating: Reeden is eating 5-6 ounces of formula every 4 hours. He will sometimes last for 5 hours between feedings but I can pretty much count on every 4! He has also been eating baby cereal(oatmeal) once a day for several weeks now.

I think that just about covers everything! Hope you enjoy :)

I thought it would be fun to do a little month by month recap to show how much my little guy has grown!

Baby boy, you have changed our world in so many wonderful ways and we are over the moon! Every day I look at you and I'm so thankful that you're ours:)

My Little Family

Daylin, my multi-talented, smart, loving husband. We met when I was 16, dated for 2 years and have been married for 7 years come July 1st!  We have endured 2 deployments and in 2008 Daylin completed his 8 years of service to the Marine Corps! Our marriage is far from perfect, yet I am thankful to be married to my best friend.  I couldn't imagine being teamed up with anyone else to experience the high and lows that life throws my way.

Reeden, born November 14th,2012, is our greatest achievement! We tried for several years to get pregnant with no luck, then out of no where, and to everybody's surprise, came Reeden Cohen :) We are so blessed and thankful to be called his parents!

I come from a small town, and live in an even smaller one! I fill most of my time with my husband and son. In the rare moments I have free time you can usually find me looking, buying, playing with makeup! I was home schooled through high school, graduated beauty school, but now I am a stay at home mom, and loving every minute of it! I am obsessed with all things owls, going on 4 years now:) I try to find joy in the little things of life. This blog is intended to share my thoughts, and pictures of my son, as we journey through life. Welcome to my blog, which is simply a glimpse into my life:)

Easy Fix

If you have limited space like me this is an easy way to store clothes and miscellaneous, and still look cute!

                                                    Before

This is a bookcase that we left in our son's nursery and used as extra storage space.

                                                     After

All we did was add a curtain rod and extra fabric and voila! The mess is covered and it looks cute too:)

Side note* Thanks to my crafty mom for coming up with this idea! Book Case made by my sweet dad:)
